We are seeking a skilled and passionate Prep and Line Cook to join our culinary team.
Line Cook Position :
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. A s a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to recipes, menus, and special dietary or nutritional restrictions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of food safety practices, excellent culinary skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Hourly pay plus tips. Here are the duties broken down: Qualifications/Skills for
Line Cook:
Minimum 3 years working in a restaurant setting Must work Saturday's and Sunday's Consistent and reliable Cheerful and positive attitude Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Detail-oriented Able to multi-task Works well independently and in a team environment Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule Have the ability to lift and carry 35-50 lbs on a regular basis Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Have the ability to stand for long periods of time Must be 18 years old or older

Food Handler's Card Line Cook List of Responsibilities and Expectations:
Maintains a clean and orderly workstation Contributes to inventory management Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership Assist in dishwashing and cleaning when necessary Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Coordinate with kitchen team members to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume work environment Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food and kitchen supplies, and communicate shortages or discrepancies to management Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain freshness and prevent cross-contamination Strong knowledge of food preparation techninques and cooking methods - for example know preparation of all egg styles cooked to order Versatility in cooking tasks, including grilling, roasting, baking, and frying
