The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining or catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment. Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages. Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests. Requirements Must be able to work in a food trailer Must be able to work independently Be your own boss Must be able to work from 10am to 2pm Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the food industry. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation. Experience in fine dining or catering is highly desirable. Familiarity with dietary department operations and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus. Excellent knife skills and ability to handle various kitchen equipment safely. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff members. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
