Job Description

Summary:
Bring your passion for food to life at Opolo! We're seeking a Line & Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. You'll support lunch service and special events, with opportunities to interact directly with guests. This fast-paced, hands-on role lets you prep, plate, and help create memorable culinary experiences. Full-Time Compensation :
$20-$25 per hour plus tips, based on experience To be successful in the role, the best-fit candidate must have the following skills:
Essential Functions:
Assist during special events and private dinners Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies Prepare food and accompaniments for lunch service Execute menu items according to recipes Maintain a clean, sanitary, and guest-ready kitchen environment (dishes, surfaces, trash, etc.) Stock inventory and store food properly Ensure food comes out in high quality and a timely fashion Notify supervisor of low stock or malfunctioning equipment Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed Provide a welcoming and responsive environment for all Opolo patrons Other assignments as needed
Working Conditions:
Weekend and holiday availability required Occasional extended hours during events and busy seasons Physical demands include lifting, dishwashing, and prolonged standing
Requirements:
21 years of age or older Positive attitude and strong work ethic Hospitality-minded with excellent communication and customer service skills Attention to detail with accuracy and speed Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly (cases of wine) Able to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours/day) Available weekends, holidays, and flexible for peak seasons or events Food Handler, RBS certified within 30 days of hire To apply, please email your resume to Virginiaa@opolo.com .
