All roles are paid positions, emphasizing the value we place on every team member's contribution. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assist in food prep to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces regularly. Support the kitchen team by handling food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures. Assist with meal assembly and plating during busy service times to ensure timely delivery. Follow all health regulations and safety guidelines to uphold a safe working environment. Contribute to menu planning discussions by providing feedback on dishes and ingredients. Skills Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with special dietary needs and food accommodations. Proven food preparation and cooking skills, including knife skills and meal assembly techniques. Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling, and sanitation practices within a restaurant or food service setting. Strong understanding of kitchen operations, including menu planning, catering support, and general food industry knowledge. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food presentation and quality. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving customers and supporting colleagues. Prior restaurant experience or culinary training is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
