Job Description
About the Role We're looking for a motivated and reliable Cook to join our team full-time, year-round. You'll work alongside our experienced Catering Chefs to prepare, cook, and plate dishes for weddings, corporate events, and private parties. This is a great position for someone looking to grow their skills and gain experience in large-scale event cooking, from elegant wine-country weddings to relaxed backyard parties. Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation and cooking of menu items for catered events.
- Follow prep lists, recipes, and plating instructions accurately.
- Support chefs in maintaining food quality and presentation standards.
- Work both in our kitchen and on-site at events.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen.
- Demonstrate excellent knife skills and food preparation techniques to optimize efficiency. Qualifications
- 1-2 years of professional kitchen experience preferred.
- Interest in learning and growing in a catering or event kitchen environment.
- Ability to follow directions and work efficiently as part of a team.
- Dependable, punctual, and positive attitude.
- Food Handler certification (or ability to obtain one).
ScheduleFull-Time:
40+ hours per week Typical schedule:- Tuesday to Thursday 7am to 3pm
- Friday and Saturday 2pm to 10pm
- this is a flexible schedule you will usually know a month in advance.
Pay:
$22.00- $24.
