Part Time Pay:

starting at $21.00/hr We are seeking a Part Time Cook to join our dietary team. This role is responsible for preparing meals for residents while helping maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment. The Cook plays an important role in the resident experience by helping provide meals that are nourishing, well prepared, and enjoyable for residents each day. We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and works well within a team environment. Responsibilities Prepare meals and food items according to menus and dietary guidelines Ensure food is prepared and served under sanitary conditions Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen and work areas Monitor food and kitchen supply levels and communicate needs as appropriate Follow safe food handling and infection control procedures Work closely with the dietary team to support meal service operations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous cooking experience required Healthcare or skilled nursing dietary experience preferred Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe food handling practices Ability to prepare meals that are both appetizing and appropriate for resident dietary needs Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting throughout the shift Ability to lift and move items over 20 pounds as needed If you are looking for an opportunity to be part of a team that supports residents through quality meals and strong service, we would love to connect with you!
