This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary expertise in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards Assist in menu planning by suggesting creative dish ideas and seasonal specials Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are strictly followed to maintain hygiene standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and delivery efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including proper knife skills and food storage Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food with attention to quality and timing Serve dishes promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times Requirements Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly valued Proven food preparation, cooking, and food handling skills within a restaurant or food industry setting Strong knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and food safety regulations Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and food service operations Excellent knife skills and proficiency in culinary techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Previous catering or serving experience is a plus but not required Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
