Line Cook

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team at our restaurant. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our recipes and standards. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality dishes that are both visually appealing and delicious.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality
• Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Clean up the kitchen and maintain a sanitized and orderly environment
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen staff to maintain efficient operations

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant role in a restaurant or food service establishment
• Knowledge of food handling, food safety, and kitchen sanitation practices
• Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Excellent knife skills for cutting, chopping, and slicing ingredients
• Strong understanding of various cooking techniques and methods
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely preparation of meals
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Currently, this position is looking for one day time shift person and one evening shift person.
