All roles are paid positions, emphasizing the importance of your contribution to our culinary success. Duties Prepare ingredients and components for menu items with precision and efficiency, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist in cooking and plating dishes according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations. Support menu planning by preparing ingredients in advance for upcoming service periods. Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and freshness. Collaborate with team members to meet service goals during busy hours while maintaining a positive attitude. Assist with catering orders and special event meal preparations as needed. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary environments, preferably within restaurants or food service settings. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment with attention to detail. Experience with dietary department procedures or dietary aide responsibilities is a plus. Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a proactive approach to meal preparation. Familiarity with menu planning, food industry practices, and catering operations enhances your versatility in this role.
