The cook will be responsible for preparing menu items according to restaurant recipes and quality standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook food accurately and consistently Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards Complete food preparation before and during each shift Maintain a clean and organized cooking station Follow food safety, sanitation, and temperature-control procedures Properly label, date, rotate, and store food Communicate with servers and kitchen team members Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning duties Work efficiently during busy breakfast and lunch periods

Qualifications:

Previous restaurant cooking experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds Available to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed California Food Handler Card required or must be obtained after hiring
