Responsibilities include food preparation, cooking, baking, serving meals, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, receiving supplies, inventory tracking, and supporting food service operations as needed. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve meals according to menus and dietary requirements. Assist with food preparation, cooking, baking, and portioning. Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, work areas, and food storage areas. Receive, store, and inventory food and supplies. Support training of food service staff and perform related duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Valid ServSafe Food Handler Card. Knowledge & Skills Food preparation, cooking, baking, sanitation, and food safety practices. Special diets and nutritional requirements. Safe operation of kitchen equipment. Basic math, recordkeeping, and inventory management. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Pre-Employment Requirements CPR and First Aid Certification. DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance. Negative TB test and drug screening. Must be insurable and maintain a valid California Identification Card. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds. Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment and perform duties requiring manual dexterity, visual acuity, and effective communication.
