Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assist with meal preparation according to recipes and menu specifications Cook a variety of dishes with precision, ensuring consistent quality and presentation Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety standards Support menu planning by suggesting new ideas and ensuring ingredient availability Handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures Assist with catering events and special functions as needed Serve food efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards Requirements Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within restaurant or food service environments Knowledge of kitchen operations, including knife skills, meal preparation, and food safety protocols Experience with menu planning and catering is a plus Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Familiarity with the food industry standards for safety, sanitation, and quality assurance Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a real difference!
