The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and safety, with experience in catering and fine dining settings. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs of our clients while ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Assist in menu planning and development, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences. Collaborate with the Dietary department to fulfill specific dietary needs for clients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Manage inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other cooking tools. Provide support during catering events, ensuring timely service and presentation of meals. Requirements Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. Previous experience in fine dining or catering is preferred but not required.
