Responsibilities Prepare and chop ingredients according to recipes and specifications. Assist in the cooking process by preparing sauces, marinades, and other components. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage. Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times. Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients. Participate in catering events as needed, ensuring high-quality meal preparation. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Proficient knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques. Familiarity with culinary terms and practices related to meal preparation. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented kitchen setting. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Knowledge of food handling safety standards is essential.
