Responsibilities:

Short order grill cooking for cafeteria customers. Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards. Ensure food is prepared and ready for production in a timely manner. Monitor food stock levels. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Interact with customers and assist with food purchases. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications:

Customer service experience. Ability to thrive in a fast paced cafeteria. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology. Food handler's card preferred. Experience at universities, armed services, banquet or other high volume operations is helpful. Punctual and reliable. Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team. Should be able to work independently as well as with a team. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Standard work week is Monday thru Friday.
