This role involves preparing meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and consistency. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods. Monitor food preparation processes to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain equipment and utensils in good working condition. Participate in menu planning and development as needed. Qualifications 3-5 years experience as a Cook in a restaurant. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and food handling practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers. Culinary skills or experience in food preparation is preferred, but willing to train the right person.
