This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft innovative dishes that blend traditional Indian flavors with American culinary influences. As a vital member of our culinary team, you will bring energy, creativity, and precision to every plate, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your culinary expertise will help elevate our menu and uphold the highest standards of food quality and safety. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of Indian American fusion dishes with attention to flavor, presentation, and consistency Assist in menu planning by developing new recipes that combine Indian spices and American ingredients Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment Execute food preparation tasks efficiently during peak hours to meet customer demand Maintain proper knife skills for precise ingredient prep, including chopping, slicing, and dicing Support catering orders and special events by preparing large quantities of menu items with accuracy Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service delivery Requirements Proven experience as a line cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment, preferably with fine dining or fusion cuisine background Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards Experience in menu planning and creating innovative dishes that appeal to diverse tastes Demonstrated proficiency in food handling, meal preparation, and kitchen organization Excellent knife skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours Background in the food industry with a focus on culinary excellence and customer satisfaction Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering vibrant flavors and memorable dining experiences.
