Shift 2 - 10:30 PM) You will be responsible for preparing and executing high-quality dishes while maintaining the highest culinary standards. This position requires precision, efficiency, and attention to detail in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in upscale dining, a passion for culinary excellence, and the ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen team. Pay Range $19.67 - $23.85 #TowncountrySD Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and plate menu items with consistency and precision, following established recipes and presentation guidelines. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards. Monitor inventory levels and assist with food preparation, storage, and rotation to minimize waste. Work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume, fine dining environment while upholding quality and presentation standards. Assist with receiving and inspecting ingredients to ensure freshness and quality. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling of kitchen equipment and adherence to HACCP guidelines. Collaborate with chefs, kitchen staff, and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service. Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to contribute to menu innovation and continuous improvement. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fine dining or upscale kitchen environment (preferred) Strong understanding of classic and modern cooking techniques, including sautéing, grilling, roasting, and plating. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent knife skills and proficiency with kitchen equipment. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation procedures. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs.
