While you will have a primary role as Sandwich Cook, training will be provided on all operations of the cafe including coffee and other food prep. Qualifications Must be available to work Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays 6:30am - 2pm Experience making sandwiches, subs, burgers or similar items on a flat grill or panini press in a food service environment Able to handle front of house interactions with customers while handling food and coffee preparation responsibilities Familiarity with Square or similar point-of-sale systems Ability to speak Spanish a plus Quick learner, team player Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of grilled panini sandwiches, toasts and other cafe foods (primary role) Prepare and serve various coffees (secondary role) Operate the cash register and POS system efficiently, ensuring accurate transactions and handling of cash. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, counters, and seating areas. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Stock inventory as needed Slice cheeses and deli meats as needed Compensation $18/hour plus tips which range between $40-$100 •
