Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced

OVERNIGHT

Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to our recipes and guidelines. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality meals that meet their expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
• Cook food items according to recipes and guidelines, ensuring proper portion sizes and presentation
• Monitor food cooking temperatures to ensure safety and quality standards are met
• Assist with menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements to existing recipes
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
• Maintain a clean and organized work station, following all sanitation guidelines
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and practices
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a Line Cook or in a similar role in the food industry
• Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Basic knife skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment operation
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and adapt as necessary
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
