- Previous professional cooking experience required; hotel, restaurant, banquet, or high-volume kitchen experience preferred.
- Ability to work assigned stations with limited supervision.
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques, knife skills, food preparation, station setup, and cooking methods.
- Ability to follow recipes, prep lists, production standards, and verbal instructions.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, proper food storage, and temperature-control procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent food quality and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, push, pull, and carry items as needed in a kitchen environment.
- Food handler certification required or must be obtained in accordance with local requirements.
