We are looking for dedicated culinary professionals to join our team! Dietary Solutions LLC partners with skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) across the California Bay Area to improve dietary department efficiency, food quality, and regulatory compliance. Position Summary:

We are seeking dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Cooks who want to help the company grow! This position will join our team to serve in Skilled Nursing Facility / Long-term care facility Dietary Departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety and HACCP principles and be able to travel to SNF's around the Silicon Valley Area.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve meals in accordance with physician-prescribed diets and facility menus. Follow all California Health and Safety Codes , Title 22, and federal CMS dietary regulations for SNFs. Accurately prepare therapeutic and texture-modified diets (e.g., diabetic, renal, puree, mechanical soft, low-sodium, etc.). Maintain food safety standards, including proper food storage, temperature control, and sanitation procedures. Assist with menu portioning, plating, and service according to resident preferences and dietary restrictions. Follow cleaning and sanitation schedules to maintain compliance during CDPH and state surveys. Collaborate with the Dietary Manager and Dietitian to ensure quality meal service and resident satisfaction. Ensure kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and maintained and is in a safe working condition.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 year of experience as a cook in a skilled nursing facility, hospital, or healthcare environment preferred. Knowledge of therapeutic diets and modified textures required. Familiarity with Title 22 and California Retail Food Code . Ability to read and follow diet cards, production sheets, and standardized recipes. Current Food Handler's Card or ServSafe Certification required. Must be dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced healthcare kitchen. Must be able to travel daily with reliable transportation to contracted facilities Must work holidays and weekends (required)
