The Cook is responsible for meal preparation, food safety compliance, kitchen cleanliness, and maintaining proper food storage procedures. This role requires the ability to follow menus, accommodate dietary restrictions, and ensure meals are prepared and served in a timely manner. The ideal candidate has experience in food preparation, a strong understanding of sanitation and safety standards, and a commitment to providing residents with enjoyable and well-balanced meals. The Cook will work closely with facility staff to support the health, well-being, and satisfaction of residents while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities Lead the overall management of operations, including kitchen, dining service, catering, and banquet functions Develop and implement innovative menu plans that align with culinary trends and customer preferences Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, servers, bartenders, and support teams to ensure high performance and professional growth Oversee food production, preparation, presentation, and food safety standards across all departments Manage inventory control, procurement, and cost analysis to optimize food quality while maintaining budget targets Coordinate shift schedules, monitor service flow, and ensure seamless guest experiences during peak hours and special events Enforce strict adherence to health regulations, safety protocols, and sanitation practices in compliance with industry standards Requirements Proven experience in banquet management, fine dining establishments, or high-volume catering environments Demonstrated supervising experience with a track record of team leadership and staff development Extensive dietary department experience including menu planning for special diets and food allergies Strong background in food production, culinary techniques, and kitchen management Knowledge of inventory management systems and food handling procedures Excellent skills in food service management, catering coordination, and restaurant operations Ability to lead with energy, motivate teams, and foster a collaborative work environment Familiarity with food safety regulations and certifications required by local health authorities Experience in hospitality settings with a focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence Join us as the Head to inspire culinary innovation while leading a dedicated team committed to delivering memorable dining experiences.
