The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent culinary skills, and experience working in fast-paced food service environments. This role involves preparing and cooking meals according to menu specifications, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness, and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Candidates with background in dietary departments, fine dining, or catering are encouraged to apply. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following established recipes and menu guidelines Assist with menu planning and meal presentation to ensure quality and consistency Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene standards during all stages of food preparation Use knife skills and other culinary techniques to prepare ingredients efficiently Ensure timely delivery of meals to customers or service staff Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management Support catering services and special event meal preparations as needed Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and high customer satisfaction Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within restaurants or food industry settings Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and food presentation techniques Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods Background in dietary aide services or dietary department experience is a plus Fine dining experience or restaurant experience highly desirable Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; previous kitchen or culinary experience preferred
