Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Assist with meal preparation for catering events or special functions as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service. Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling techniques, including storage and temperature control. Requirements Previous experience in a food service environment, including restaurant or catering settings. Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling perishable items. Experience with dietary department procedures or dietary aide roles is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude.
