In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen, preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision and flair. Your culinary skills will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, ensuring every plate is crafted with care, consistency, and quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that values your enthusiasm and commitment. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining high quality and presentation. Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and improvements based on customer feedback and seasonal ingredients. Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and safety protocols at all times. Support food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal service efficiently during busy hours, ensuring timely delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold health regulations and promote a safe kitchen environment. Contribute to catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of food while adhering to quality standards. Experience Previous Breakfast and Lunch Cook experience background is necessary. A knowledge of correct meat temps, how to sauté vegetables, and cook all different variations of eggs. A bonus, but not necessary, is a background in pastry and Italian-styled cuisines.
Pay:
$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
