The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that all food is prepared according to our restaurant's standards and guidelines. Your expertise in food safety and handling will contribute to a safe and efficient kitchen operation. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment. Assist in the development of new menu items and contribute creative ideas for seasonal offerings. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Participate in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the culinary environment. Experience Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or high-volume restaurants, is preferred. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food handling practices. Familiarity with dietary department requirements is a plus. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
