Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications Assist in menu planning to ensure balanced, appealing, and nutritious options are available Handle food with care, following all food safety and sanitation protocols to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards Support food presentation and garnishing to enhance visual appeal of dishes Maintain proper food handling procedures during meal preparation and serving processes Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and smooth kitchen operations Assist with catering events or special meal requests as needed, ensuring high-quality service at all times Requirements Valid Food Handler's Certificate Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments is highly desirable Strong culinary skills with proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife handling Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and food presentation in fine dining or restaurant settings Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving others Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings or weekends as needed Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your passion for food makes a difference every day!
