In this role, you will prepare and cook a variety of dishes, focusing on sautéing techniques that bring out the best flavors in every ingredient. You'll work closely with fellow kitchen staff to ensure that each meal meets our high standards of quality and presentation. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to an exceptional dining experience, we want to hear from you! What you'll do Prepare and cook a diverse menu of sautéed dishes while maintaining high standards of taste and presentation. Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan menus that cater to dietary needs and preferences. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with safety and sanitation regulations, prioritizing food safety at all times. Handle food items with care, demonstrating excellent knife skills and cooking techniques. Assist in the training of new kitchen staff on proper cooking methods and food handling practices. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to maintain kitchen efficiency. Participate in catering events, ensuring that all meals are executed flawlessly for guests. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to health regulations. Basic qualifications Experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or fine dining setting is essential. Preferred qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable. Strong background in menu planning and meal preparation tailored to various dietary restrictions. Proven experience in food service, including catering events and large-scale meal preparation.
