AM/PM Cook

Fulton Gardens Post Acute is seeking a dependable and motivated Cook to join our Dietary Services team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in preparing quality meals for our residents while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. Our ideal candidate is a team player with experience in food preparation, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and therapeutic diet requirements Ensure food is prepared and served in accordance with sanitation and safety standards Maintain proper food temperatures and storage practices Assist with meal service and tray preparation Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas Follow infection control and dietary department procedures Work collaboratively with dietary staff and nursing departments Assist with inventory, stocking, and kitchen organization as needed Qualifications Previous cooking experience preferred, especially in healthcare, hospitality, or large-scale food service Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Experience with therapeutic or modified diets is a plus Food Handler Certification preferred What We Offer Supportive team environment Stable scheduling Opportunity for growth within the organization Competitive pay based on experience Benefits available for eligible full-time employees How to Apply Please submit your resume through Indeed or apply in person.
