In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking delicious dishes, and supporting the overall kitchen operations. Your energetic approach and culinary skills will help create a vibrant dining experience for our guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your food industry expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Prepare ingredients and assist in meal assembly according to established recipes and standards Cook a variety of menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols at all times Support menu planning by suggesting improvements and assisting with special dietary requests Handle food safely during preparation, storage, and service to prevent contamination Assist with food handling during catering events or large-scale meal preparations Serve dishes efficiently and courteously to ensure excellent customer satisfaction Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques are essential Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices is required Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations is advantageous Demonstrated ability to work quickly, efficiently, and collaboratively within a busy kitchen setting Culinary experience that highlights cooking skills across various cuisines will be valued Embark on a culinary journey with us—where your skills will flourish, your creativity will be celebrated, and every day brings new opportunities to serve delicious experiences!
