- Uses food preparation equipment and appropriate cleaning and sanitation according to manufacturers' instructions.
- Maintains and cleans workstation and equipment and takes care of leftover food.
- Returns unused food products to proper storage areas.
- Assists with preparation of Prep-List and help where it is needed.
- Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling procedures including those relating to personal hygiene, and new regulations for "
COVID-19
" . Always keep all refrigeration, equipment, storage and working areas in clean working condition, in order to comply with health department regulations . Returns soiled food preparation utensils and other small wares to the dishwasher area
- Prepares meats, poultry, seafood and other items for cooking according to Health code . Minimize waste and maintain control to attain forecasted food cost. . Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, workstations, cutting boards tools and utensils and other equipment as needed
- Makes recommendations for the maintenance, repair and upkeep of the Kitchen area and equipment.
- Valid California Food Handlers Card.
- Attends staff meetings.
- Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Manager .
