Pay:
$25•28 per hour (based on experience) Overview Sipeos Restaurant & Bar is a plant-forward, California-Mediterranean restaurant located in the heart of Walnut Creek. We're looking for an experienced Lead Cook / Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations, direct prep and line cooks, and ensure consistent, high-quality execution of every dish. Responsibilities Lead and supervise kitchen staff in food prep, cooking, plating, and station setup . Assign and monitor daily prep tasks; ensure stations are fully stocked and organized. Ensure produce and supplies are ordered on time and inventory levels are properly maintained. Follow standardized recipes precisely to ensure consistency in all prep and menu items. Train, coach, and motivate team members to maintain a positive, efficient, and safe kitchen environment . Uphold food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards per California health codes. Communicate with management and FOH team to maintain smooth service flow. Assist with inventory management, recipe execution, and new menu development . Qualifications 7+ years of professional kitchen experience , including 2+ years in a lead, sous chef, or supervisory role . Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent knife skills, prep, and cooking techniques across multiple stations. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment . Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and kitchen sanitation procedures . Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Must speak fluent English Schedule & Benefits Morning 9:30am-4:00pm shifts available. 5 shifts per week. Competitive pay:
