Position Overview:
We are a busy, upscale restaurant celebrated for our elevated cuisine, high-energy atmosphere, and warm hospitality. Our kitchen team is dedicated to excellence, precision, and creativity, producing memorable dishes for a discerning and loyal guest base. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, has a passion for cooking, and takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality plates.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes and presentation standards Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked station throughout service Collaborate with chefs and fellow cooks to ensure timely, efficient service Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines Assist with prep work, restocking, and daily cleaning duties Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Handle multiple orders under pressure while maintaining accuracy and quality
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant preferred Strong knife skills and knowledge of cooking techniques Ability to follow recipes and presentation specifications precisely Excellent communication and teamwork skills Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to work standing for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
