We are looking for cooks who take pride in their craft, respect technique, and are committed to consistency, organization, and execution at a high level. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, maintains a strong sense of urgency, and understands that every plate leaving the pass represents the restaurant's standards. Responsibilities Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes, specifications, and presentation standards. Maintain consistency, quality, and attention to detail during all service periods. Properly set up, stock, and break down assigned stations. Ensure all ingredients are prepared, organized, and ready for service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout the shift, adhering to food safety protocols Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards. Communicate effectively with chefs and team members to ensure smooth service. Assist with receiving, storage, labeling, and rotation of products. Support menu changes, seasonal offerings, and special events as needed. Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented kitchen culture. Prepare ingredients and assist in the assembly of menu items with precision and care Cook dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards Handle food with proper hygiene practices, ensuring safe food handling at all times Assist with catering orders and special event meal preparations Serve food efficiently and courteously to ensure guest satisfaction Skills Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with special dietary needs and food accommodations Proven culinary experience in a restaurant or food service environment, showcasing strong knife skills and meal preparation abilities Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume kitchen setting Excellent food industry knowledge, including cooking techniques and kitchen operations Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously Passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional service Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen; experience in upscale, chef-driven, or fine dining restaurants preferred. Strong knife skills and understanding of cooking fundamentals. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards under pressure. Knowledge of proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices. Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation & Benefits Pay Range:
$20-$24 per hour, depending on experience.
