Job Description

Overview This position requires individuals to have motivation and dedication to join our culinary team as a Line Cook, Prep Cook. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills in a fast-paced food service environment. Ideal candidates will have a passion for food preparation, food safety, and providing excellent service. Experience in the food industry, including restaurant or kitchen experience, is required. This position is essential to ensuring smooth kitchen operations and delivering high-quality meals to our guests. Duties Prepare ingredients and assist with meal preparation according to menu specifications and dietary guidelines Cook and assemble dishes with attention to presentation, quality, and food safety standards Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment in compliance with health regulations Dishwashing duties to ensure timely turnover of clean dishes and kitchenware Support menu planning efforts by preparing ingredients and assisting in recipe execution Follow proper food handling procedures during all stages of meal preparation and service Help with catering events and special functions as needed Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers to prevent contamination or spoilage Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with co-workers. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or culinary environments Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Strong knife skills and proficiency in basic cooking methods Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if required Basic understanding of menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations is a plus A genuine interest in culinary arts and a desire to grow within the food industry
