EVENT TIPS
•We are a full-production winery, restaurant and event venue in Denver's RiNo Arts District producing wine from California, Oregon and Colorado. We make and sell our own wine label, but also offer beer and cocktails. The tasting room menu revolves around it's ability to pair with the wines we produce as well as seasonal menu changes and Sunday Brunch. We also serve as a banquet kitchen for the events we host almost daily. A keen ability to multitask, 'roll with the punches', and a desire to learn. We will be adding another location soon so there is lots of room to grow with the company. Please send resume in an email with a little bit about you and what you want in this industry.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Experience in full service restaurant with 2 years minimum Willingness to learn Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients and equipment Flexible schedule Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests Task-driven individual Following recipes whether by written or verbal instruction Able to work quickly, cleanly, and efficiently under pressure Able to clearly communicate during service
RESPONSIBILITIES
Cooking and preparing all menu items in accordance standards set by the Chef Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food on the line Food preparation and portioning prior to service Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment Dishwashing & kitchen cleaning Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for long periods of time
PREFERENCES
Culinary Arts Education Catering/ Banquet experience ServSafe Certified Appreciation of wine / wine and food pairing
COMPENSATION
This position pays $20 hour (depending on experience), in addition to bonus compensation for events.
