Full Job Description Description:

PURPOSE:

Prepares and maintains assigned par levels of food items, cleanliness of kitchen, work areas & equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Prepare assigned sauces and food items per prep lists and par guidelines according to recipe specifications. Ensure compliance with all health codes and requirements. Safe knife handling skills when chopping, cutting, dicing, etc. Use hand tools correctly and safely (rolling pins, whisks, mashers, scrapers or other). Clean shelves, organize and remove trash, constantly maintaining a clean workspace. Operate equipment safely as determined by position and OSHA regulations.

OTHER DUTIES

Maintain food storage, receiving, stocking & rotating. Communicates closely with

HOH & FOH

team; in constant high pace doing a variety of "time restraint" tasks. Performs all other functions as assigned by management.

Requirements:

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

100 % Stand or walk. Climbs stairs. 75% Work at Approx. 36" table/stove and reach in approx. 36". 75% Ability to reach overhead (at least 6" overhead), bend, stoop and wipe. 60% Perform job at a continuous high pace while meeting quality & speed standards. 50% Lift and carry product up to 50 pounds from floor to above waist level, approx. 20 feet; stairs involved.

ESSENTIAL TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

Successful completion of hourly position validations, including reading training materials and watching videos.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 16 years old to be hired, 18 years old to operate mandated equipment and meet any other state qualifications.
