SHEEP is a fire-driven dining experience rooted in seasonality, craftsmanship, and hospitality. Centered around an open hearth and a four-course tasting menu with guest choice, the concept invites guests to explore ingredients, stories, and traditions through an immersive dining experience unlike any other in Denver. We are seeking hospitality professionals who are passionate about food, beverage, and creating memorable guest experiences. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside one of the country's most celebrated culinary teams while helping launch one of Denver's most anticipated dining experiences. Position Summary Back of House Team Members are responsible for executing food preparation and service at the highest level of consistency, quality, and efficiency. Team members will work closely with the culinary team to prepare, cook, and plate dishes that reflect the vision and standards of SHEEP, ensuring every plate delivered supports an exceptional guest experience. Successful candidates are detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about culinary excellence. Experience in chef-driven restaurants, fine dining, tasting menu service, or high-volume quality kitchens is preferred. Key Responsibilities Food Preparation & Execution Prepare, cook, and plate dishes according to recipes, standards, and chef direction Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation for all menu items Support prep work including ingredient preparation, butchery, sauces, and mise en place Execute service on the line with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail Kitchen Operations Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards at all times Follow all health, safety, and food handling regulations Properly label, store, and rotate products to maintain freshness and reduce waste Assist with inventory, stocking, and receiving deliveries as needed Teamwork and Communication Communicate clearly and effectively with chefs and fellow team members during service Support other stations and roles to ensure smooth kitchen flow Participate in pre-shift meetings, tastings, and ongoing training Contribute to a respectful, focused, and high-performance kitchen culture Required Capabilities Minimum 1 year of kitchen experience in a restaurant, hotel, or private club setting. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Preferred Capabilities Experience in fine dining, tasting menu, Michelin-recognized, or chef-driven restaurants. Familiarity with open-fire cooking or live-fire kitchen environments. Strong knife skills and foundational cooking techniques.
