We currently are seeking a Grill Cook. Our kitchen is fast paced so we require employees to be positive, detail and team oriented. Also, everyone must know and follow all sanitation and cleanliness procedures. Applicants must be comfortable and safe when handling a knife. Exhibit great customer service. Able to take and execute multiple orders at once making sure the food quality is maintained. All employees must be willing to cross train at other stations and help other team members out. Prepare high-quality food based on a planned menu. Understand meal components and cooking techniques. Label, date and store food according to serv-safe and health department policies. Serve food following meal schedules and department policies. Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment. Prepare various food items promptly. Garnishments to enhance customer satisfaction and visual appeal. Coordinate and assist with thorough cleaning of refrigeration and cooking equipment. Comply with all food safety rules for sanitation, handling, and storage. Follow the uniform policy diligently. Communicate with the Manager daily to accurately prepare the day's menu. Monitor and maintain required food temperatures. Keep work and storage areas clean and organized. Scrub and polish counters, and clean and sanitize steam tables and other equipment. Follow all established procedures and cleanliness standards, ensuring a safe and balanced environment; this includes sweeping, mopping, and ware washing. Maintain cleanliness of garbage areas and kitchen floors. Perform additional duties as assigned, including various tasks within the kitchen. This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, and walking or standing for extended periods. Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
