We are seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Cook/Cashier to join our team. We serve globally inspired street food including dumplings, noodles, tacos and other creative cross-culture dishes. We prepare all of our food from scratch to maintain the highest quality standards. This position combines food preparation, cooking, customer service, and cash handling. You must be able to multitask between taking orders and handling food. A good attitude and a willingness to learn are more important than prior experience. Responsibilities Food Preparation & Cooking Follow recipes and portion control practices. Cook and assemble menu items quickly and accurately during service. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies. Follow all health department regulations and food handling procedures. Customer Service & Cashier Duties Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Take food orders accurately and process payments. Have understanding of allergy and dietary restrictions. Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations. General Operations Assist with food truck setup and breakdown. Maintain cleanliness of service and dining areas. Work efficiently as part of a small team. Support catering events, festivals, brewery events, and private bookings as needed. Qualifications Required Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Willingness to learn and adapt. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Communication and customer service skills. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and special events. Preferred Previous experience in food service, food trucks, restaurants, or hospitality. Food safety certification (or willing to obtain one). Experience with line cooking, prep cooking, or high-volume service. Experience with Square POS is a plus. What We're Looking For Positivity, work ethic, and willingness to learn and adapt are the most important qualities for this position. We are able to train you on all operations if you are willing to put in the effort. Food truck service requires teamwork, flexibility, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed. Pay:
$18-$20 per hour based on experience, plus tips.
Schedule:
Part-time currently available, 24-32 hours per week. The position can become full time as food truck popularity and sales increase. Typical operating days are Thursday through Saturday 12pm-8pm, with additional days added as events open up.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
