We provide paper applications that can be completed in person at the restaurant as well as completing the application process here on indeed and/or forwarding a resume. We are always accepting resumes in person even if we are not actively looking to fill a position or do not have a live posted add. We are looking for a line cook for our restaurant in Littleton Colorado. Our line cooks start between $20.00 and $21.00 depending on applicable experience. We offer two sets of shifts either 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. or 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. The Lake House Kitchen & Tavern features an American Menu highlighting American Comfort Food including, Pressure Fried Chicken, Lake Caught Fish, Steak, Wings, Salads and Sandwiches all made form scratch in house as well as Craft Cocktail, Craft Beers (10+ taps) and Wines. We are seeking applicants with with experience respectively but our culture is all about training, development and preparing all employees for the next opportunity. This is our first location, but our plan is to open many and with that will come opportunity for advancement as well as requiring key lead personnel to assist the management team in consistently maintaining our hospitality, culinary, operational and team standards. Up to 48 hours of paid leave per year, for use for a variety of health-and-safety purposes, which employees "earn" at a rate of 1 hour of leave for every 30 hours worked. Leave:
Up to 80 hours of PHE-related leave when a PHE is declared. Responsibilities The role of the Line Cook is to make the menu items on their station as they are ordered adhering to Company Spec Sheets and following direction from leads, supervisors and management while also communicating and coordinating with fellow line cooks ensuring that the helm cook can "sell' complete tables. This requires properly caring for our ingredients, strictly adhering to prep recipes and menu item recipes. The culinary team is responsible for inventory controls and ensuring product is properly accounted for and not wasted. Culinary team members will be held accountable for inventory variances. Line Cooks are to properly set up, maintain and breakdown their stations following our culinary procedures and standards. Experience Minimum one year of cooking experience in a high volume restaurant
