Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team! Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items with efficiency, consistency, and attention to detail, ensuring quality standards are met at all times Assist with menu planning by providing input on recipes and ingredient needs based on customer preferences and seasonal availability Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards Support food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating dishes for service Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in accordance with health regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal timing and ensure smooth service flow during busy hours Contribute to catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality control Demonstrate excellent knife skills and culinary techniques to enhance dish presentation and flavor Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with food safety protocols and meal service standards Proven restaurant or kitchen experience showcasing proficiency in food preparation, cooking, and food handling Strong knowledge of food industry practices including sanitation, safety regulations, and proper storage procedures Skilled in menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations Excellent knife skills coupled with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Experience in food service roles that require attention to detail and teamwork Knowledge of dietary requirements and ability to adapt recipes accordingly is a plus Join us as a Line Cook where your culinary talents will be celebrated!
