• Job Summary
• We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking various food items while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Duties
• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
• Cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Ensure that food is prepared in a timely manner
• Monitor food levels and replenish items as needed
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
• Assist with menu planning and contribute to the development of new dishes
• Skills
• Previous experience working in a dietary department or restaurant kitchen
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations
• Proficiency with knives and kitchen equipment
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
