This role is at the heart of our restaurant, responsible for crafting exceptional pizzas and upholding our high standards of quality and presentation. As a leader in the kitchen, the Head Pizza Maker will oversee daily operations, ensure food safety compliance, and inspire a team of talented pizza artisans. Duties Lead the pizza station by preparing dough, sauces, toppings, and baking pizzas to perfection while maintaining consistency in flavor and presentation Supervise and mentor pizza makers, fostering a collaborative and efficient kitchen environment Oversee ingredient quality control, ensuring freshness and adherence to food safety standards Develop innovative pizza recipes and contribute to menu planning to keep offerings exciting and competitive Manage daily kitchen operations including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards Ensure compliance with all food handling regulations and safety protocols during food preparation and service Assist in catering events or special functions requiring high-quality pizza offerings Train new team members on proper techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations Skills Extensive culinary experience with a focus on pizza making, including dough preparation, topping arrangement, and baking techniques Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Proven leadership skills with experience supervising kitchen staff or culinary teams Excellent knife skills for precise ingredient preparation Ability to plan menus that balance creativity with operational efficiency Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments preferred Knowledge of dietary requirements and ability to accommodate special requests or dietary restrictions Skilled in food industry standards related to catering, serving, and food presentation Exceptional organizational skills for managing inventory and ensuring smooth kitchen workflow Passionate about delivering outstanding food service experiences with attention to detail Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by leading our pizza team with enthusiasm and culinary expertise!
