In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency. Duties Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste Assist with menu planning by providing input on dish execution and ingredient selection Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including food prep stations, utensils, and storage areas Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe dining environment Support food preparation activities such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and assembling ingredients for service Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy service periods Assist with catering events or special functions as needed, ensuring all meals meet quality standards Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Proven kitchen experience in a restaurant or food industry setting, demonstrating strong food preparation and cooking skills Knowledge of menu planning, food handling, and food safety regulations Skilled in culinary techniques including knife skills, meal preparation, and food presentation Experience with food service operations such as catering or serving is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members Join us to bring your culinary talents to life!
