Position:
Line Cook, Full- and Part-Time We're looking for experienced and inspired Line Cooks to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will help bring Joylark's culinary vision to life, ensuring that every dish meets our standards of excellence and brings happiness to our guests. Your Role Will Include:
  • Cooking on the line and prepping components.
  • Ensuring efficiency and excellence in food preparation.
  • Upholding standards of cleanliness, safety, and organization in accordance with health regulations and Joylark's kitchen culture.
  • Ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish, every service.
  • Assist other areas of the kitchen, including dishes and organization as needed
We're Seeking Someone Who Has:
  • 2+ years in a similar position in upscale (or up-casual) kitchen environments
  • Flexibility to work in all areas of the kitchen
  • Experience in vegan or plant-based cuisine is highly preferred, but curiosity and the willingness and ability to learn is paramount.
  • Formal culinary training or equivalent professional experience with strong knowledge of classical cooking techniques.
  • Abilities to work under pressure, and to make the most of less busy times
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • A professional, happy attitude and demeanor, and ability to get along well with others
  • At least 18 years of age.
