At The Hub, we live for the char that only a wood burning oven can provide! We aim to provide delicious pizzas and wings and to keep things fun and fresh for our community! The ideal candidate will have experience making pizza and a passion for food and a strong understanding of pizza preparation techniques. This role involves crafting delicious pizzas, ensuring high standards of food safety, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. If you have experience in food preparation and a flair for culinary creativity, we want to hear from you! You must be able to work Sundays Duties Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety regulations. Utilize various kitchen equipment, including wood burning oven, mixers, and knives, to create high-quality dishes. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, including regular cleaning of equipment and utensils. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Put away food orders properly Stock wood for oven Experience Previous experience as a cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred. Previous experience with a wood burning oven is preferred Knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures is essential. Experience with meal preparation techniques, particularly in pizza making, is highly desirable. Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods are beneficial. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
