Line Cook New Haven, CT 06510 $22 an hour - Full-time $22 an hour - Full-time Job Overview We are hiring a line cook to join our team in downtown New Haven. This position plays a vital role in preparing dishes and ensuring food quality. Must have saute station experience and be available to work Saturday & Sunday brunch shifts. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices.. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Experience Previous experience cooking in a restaurant is required Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques are beneficial. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
