We are located on the bustling and historic Washington Street near tons of neighboring restaurants and vibrant nightlife based venues. We are looking to hire a line cook for our team! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.   • Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of menu items for daily service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
  • Follow all food safety guidelines, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
  • Participate in catering events as needed, ensuring high-quality food presentation.
  • Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary needs.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience in food preparation or cooking in a restaurant or catering environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
  • Experience with menu planning is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
